Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know the signature/Agent/Queue relationship and that autoresponses are sent by the system. I am just too lazy to edit ~20 files (Multiple queues, different length of Agents' signatures for B2B and B2C) and hoped a for a better solution than doing it manually.

After u replied to my forum post I tried that out and wondered why it did not integrated into my OTRS. Prolly the path is wrong? Shouldn't it be otrs/Kernel/Config/Files/AgentPrefs-myfield.xml)?

Thank u for the fast reply. So, then I have to backup the whole OTRS Dir, not only the database and remember the customized file(s). How do you do the latter? Do u have some logfile where u put the names of all customized files in?
