Ah, this module just hasn't been touched for years.
Thanks for the info!

[SOLVED] Znuny doesn't "know" Alma Linux (9).
I have a small hand full of OTRS/Znuny instances that I run on CentOS 7. These are LXC containers on Proxmox. With CentOS's demise less then a year away i've started moving them over to Alma Linux. This works fine, only thing I noticed on the AdminSupportDataCollector page it marks the OS as Red as ...

Migrating from OTOBO
In the wake of OTRS dropping the community edition like a hot brick at the end of last year I had been looking into and deploying an alternative in the form of OTOBO. It made a lot of sense at the time as it was already around before otrs dropped it's support and it's still extremely similiar to OTR...

Re: Community Edition
It's great Znuny will continue support for this in the near future! Two questions pop-up in my head: - Will Znuny also provide RPM installer packages for RHEL based systems like OTRS did? - Does the rebranding also affect interpretation/processing of x-otrs mailheaders and otrs config.pm values or w...

Re: OTRS community edition is dead?
I mean it's up to them to maintain this "free" version, to be sure, but this is all extremely short notice and not very elegant way of going about cutting support for this... Also currently looking into OTOBO. It seems to have it's own maintenance following it's own versioning. I don't thi...

OTRS community edition is dead?
https://otrs.com/release-notes/attentio ... h-otrs-6/
This came to my attention. Am I missing something or is this a rather abrupt end to the community edition?
Seeing as the community edition is in the 6 branch, we have exactly one week to find an alternative to OTRS it seems?

Re: OTRS 6.0.27 broken build, cannot find Moo perl module
I don't really know why the discontinuation of RPM's in OTRS 7+ (this is news to me, i only use community releases) should lead to issues with dependancies in the erlier releases for which RPM's are still released... OTRS RPM's normally fetches all it's required modules, that it won't fetch these tw...

Re: OTRS 6.0.27 broken build, cannot find Moo perl module
Hi, Just follow https://gitlab.com/harbottle/epmel to install the epmel repo and the install the package perl-Moo - Roy This repository is great if you don't want to deal with CPAN for module installation. I needed to install both perl-Moo and perl-namespace-clean to get rebuildconfig (i do this af...

Re: Data was only readable pure-perl YAML module.
You should check which entries do trigger that error. The admin should then update those entries in the admin area. This could be something like Processes, Dynamic Fields, and such that stores configuration in YAML format. I bet you updated (or just installed) YAML::XS while the entries were writte...

Data was only readable pure-perl YAML module.
I've got several OTRS systems, a couple of them, incidentally both fresh OTRS 6 installs, log weird YAML errors that I cannot put my finger on. I've got these errors only in new OTRS 6 installations so far. I've also upgraded a couple of OTRS 5 machines to 6 that do not log these errors. I use the R...

Re: Errors in Maint::Config::Rebuild
Have you ever fixed the YAML errors? I've got two OTRS 6 installations that log the same errors and I do nothing with skinds what so ever. There are also barely any addons, the installation is pretty much vanilla. This is the only recent topic that comes up when looking for it. My installations log ...

CKEditor disable context menu/native browser spellchecker.
I've noticed particularly Chrome's builtin spellchecker doesn't work in the CKEditor (OTRS), mostly due to it's custom context menu I have figured. OTRS seems to have no options when it comes to this other then using something like aspell instead, but considering the builtin spellcheckers are far mo...
