Forum has now responsive design...

Post by Andre Bauer »

We just updated the forums to the new PHPBB release 3.1.2.
The forum has now a responisve design.
Check it out on your mobile device! :-)

Hi,

thanks for this. On my mobile device it is worse to browse through the topics :( Reading is quite OK, but the overview
is much more better on a normal browser (as it was before)
(I am not a fan of this responsive design)

and your "quick access" for "new topics" is not quick any more. I need 2 klicks instead of 1 klick.
For me the useability is not better.

cheers,
Flo

For me it looks ok now.
Answering topics was a pain in the ass before, so im glad to have the new design...

Whats do you think is worse?
How does it look for you (screenshot)?
Which mobile browser do you use?

Hi

I am using Safari on a iPhone. It works as designed ;)

I liked to use the normal Browser View on my iPhone. "old school" ;-)

my issues:
I can not use "new topics" or "my own topics" in the responsive
design. Browsing through existing threads and going back always leads to the top of the topics.

But perhaps I am wrong? ;)

The link to "mark all forums as read" has now a new (annoying one-click) pop-up attached to it ;)

Hi,

yes the popup is annoying. Also the quick access for "new topics" is a annoying second click. It should be one click, or renamed to "slow access" ;)

Does a post have a maximum of attachments? I tried to add 8 pictures to a new thread and always get stuck at 3.
