OTRS 3.0 - ITSM

hi everybody,

first off all, i would like to give my congratulations to the otrs team, for the great product that they created in the 3.0 version. GREAT WORK !!!

Now, i would like to know if there is already a release date for the ITSM version based on the OTRS 3.0.

I need this info, because my company is managing a sw change, and the OTRS is well positioned. The thing that i need to influence a decision for the OTRS, is the ITSM module on the 3.0 version, because the ITIL processes are our operational base.

Can anyone give me this info. i would really like to implement this oportunity with this great open-source sw.

OTRS::ITSM 3.0 will be released stable in February 2011 (Beta starts mid of November 2010)

thanks jojo. I will continue to support the OTRS 2.4.7::ITSM 2.0.3 on the short list, and use it for the proof of concept phase.

i will create the upgrade cenario for the future, based on the advantages from the 3.0 version.
