Noone yet?

I installed this on my gentoo server and went through the update process, as I will write and suggest a gentoo-ebuild for this.

So far it works!

I only have problems fetching mails ...

$ $HOME/bin/otrs.PostMasterMailbox.pl -f1
NOTICE: PostMasterMailbox.pl is already running but is starting again!

Does anyone else hit that?

EDIT: sorry for the noise ... might be a cpan-installed module (Net::Imap::Simple duplicate) ... searching now.

EDIT2: got problems with sending replies etc ... have to roll back my productive installation and do another approach soon.

all additional packages like SystemMonitoring are not ported to OTRS4 now and can not be used.

It would be helpful if the upgrade-instructions would tell me about that fact and what to do/prepare ... right?
I will give it another try soon in a clone of my current VM.

Packages need to be upgraded on all migrations...

So in this case it would help to uninstall all packages before starting the upgrade?

no, you have to upgrade them. But as there are no packages for OTRS 4 yet you have to deinstall them (will delete all data of these modules) before testing
