How to update 4.0.0 for 4.0.12

how do I update my otrs 4.0 to 4.0.12 without losing any information? I read some things on the internet but not you, are for other versions and display tables of errors that already exist.

You should have read UPGRADING.md carefully.

you get errors of the type "table already exists" is because you are probably executing the *.sql scripts or DBUpdate-To-4.pl

If you are doing patch level upgrades, you can ommit these steps
