Multi tenancy

Hello,

I need your help please : is OTRS a multi-tenant solution or not ? that mean can I create multiple instance for OTRS for multiple customer ?

I am not talking about creating multiple customer, No . I Know this s supported by OTRS by my question is :

can OTRS recognise an agent when logged and generate associate interface corresponding to his company ? I think that this suppose multiple databse ?

Hi,

short answer: No. Multi tenancy is not possible.

Long Answer: With proper addons (mainly commercial) and otrs version >6 (also commercial) and webservices or other web techniques you might achieve your goal.


If you want to have different skins for your clients you might want to go for host based skins

you do not need multiple databases.

But more than one instance (with a database each) might be a solution as well.
