I am surely one of the gray aged users of Znuny. I started to use OTRS with version 1.0. I am not even sure if we tried it with a pre 1.0 version
And I had with every contact with OTRS always left a bad feeling, except in the first years. I tried also to migrate from Znuny to zammad but failed due to the size of the system, and finally due to the pushed energy to switch the whole team to a new Ticket Systems like Zammad.
So luckily a new team was built with Znuny and it looks like the initial energy of OTRS in the first years is comming back. So I have a good feeling to stay on Znuny instead of switching away.
So big thx to the Znuny team!
I am really curios to understand how big "BIG" Znuny installations are?
From my point of view there are 3 scaling sizes:
- users count (concurrent users)
- database size in terms of articles in databases
( sudo -u otrs /opt/otrs/bin/otrs.Console.pl Maint::Ticket::FulltextIndex --status ) - database size in terms of GB/TB used storage
( du -h /var/lib/mysql/otrs/ )
So let me start this thread with my sizings:
users count / concurrent users
50 / about 5 concurrent
articles count in db
8.25 million
database size
49GB
What is your OTRS/Znuny sizing? Would be great if you could share too.
