Znuny LTS vs current version

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a recommended version between the LTS version and the current version (I don't mean git, but the latest on the download page) for a production server.
My other questions : 1) what would be the procedure to update from latest OTRS (6.0.30) to latest LTS ?
2) Should in be in a row or intermediate versions should be used for the update ?
3) is there a way back from Znuny to OTRS-6.0.30 ?

Hi,

you can always use the latest (LTS or Feature).
You can find it on the main page:
https://www.znuny.org/en

1&2) Latest LTS is 6.0.46 so you can directly update to it from 6.0.30
3) I don't know why one would do that, but we don't make any large / relevant modifications to the DB at this version level. So it should be possible to go back. You would need to test it, as usual, but I would say it should work out.

I didn't find any specific documentation for LTS updates. Is there a migration script ?
What documentation should be used between these for the LTS version :

The current LTS is based on the 6.0 branch and created only to provide a maximum compatibility.
So you can just use the "old" patch level docs https://doc.znuny.org/doc/manual/admin/ ... ating.html
If you use RPM packages you can just update using the RPMs on all other instances I suggest the source update.

In short (not complete, just as overview)
1) Download
2) Extract
3) Set permissions
4) Copy needed files (see doc)
5) Run update script
6) Reinstall Addons

If you want to update to 6.1+ you can use the new docs. The process is similar
