SMS or Signal app notification

Hello,

I've been searching for SMS notification module which could be used with some SMS gateway service or device but with no luck there.

Anyone knows if there is an addon for SMS notifications?

When we were still using otrs I wrote a simple script with perl to notify our agents through SMS Eagle gateway device but since then
I've completely forgotten how or even where did I wrote that small script and of course our old otrs VM has been since removed.

I'd gladly do it again but this time for Signal app and would forget SMS altogether.

Is there an addon for Signal app or could someone point me to right direction on where to start looking for how to
create small notification script for Signal/SMS? It only needs to send ticket topic to agent's phone number.

Hi,

You don't need an add-on for this. Search for a text message provider you want to use, like sms77 or Twillio, and create a web service.
