When I look at all tickets I always see closed (10000) and I know I have much more in the system and the number is not changing even when new tickets are closed.
Is this a limitation somewhere?

yes, 10000 is the limit for some of the frontends. You can search for all closed tickets via search

not via config. Changing this parameter makes no sense..
