500 server error after upgrade from otrs6ce to znuny6.1

Able to login and seeing 500 error page just after login. Migration completed successfully from otrs6ce to znuny6.1
Any ideas?

Thank you for getting back.

So, I was able to get back frontend.
Issue causing addon was FAQ though ITSM addons got autoupdated from the repolist(packages6x) and reporoot that I added from znuny

Though I was going from 6.1 to 6.2 but the steps that you guys have mentioned in update6.3 documentation worked for me somehow

I got error of 6.3 in 6.2 i.e. cpanaudit

I ran the following command: bin/otrs.Console.pl Admin::Package::ReinstallAll
that reinstalled two plugins i.e multismtp(already disabled) and faq addon.


After that on running migration script for second time, everything worked fine and migration completed without error.

My question is:
How safe it is to rerun migration script on same version again?
How safe it is to reinstall addons using command above, does it involve any dataloss?

I'm running it often multiple times. As long as it runs without any issues till the last steps were passed.

This depends on the add-on. From my experience: as long as you don't uninstall an add-on there is no dataloss.

Thank you for getting back.

I upgraded from otrs6 to Znuny6.5 in incremental updates.

Just after 6.1, since 6.2 I had to run this command at each framework upgrade as I got cpan issue that disappeared after running upgrade cmd: bin/otrs.Console.pl Admin::Package::UpgradeAll though for framework upgrade, this is the suggested as per doc: bin/otrs.Console.pl Admin::Package::ReinstallAll. Followed by running migration script second time after upgrade command instead of reinstall.

Also, upgrade from 6.4 to 6.5 suddenly gave requirement of missing module libcpan-audit-perl though I feel there is no such module requirement for fresh Znuny 6.5 lts

Please make sure to try all steps on test system and not on live or prod environment.

Setup a clone of existing otrs ce and you can follow the doc above to upgrade.
You will also need to add repo links from here: https://download.znuny.org/releases on the current setup(test environment)
