Configure Multiple outgoing SMTP

Good morning,

I need to configure multiple SMTP servers on my Znuny (LTS 6.5.4).
I found this old topic: "Need to multiple SMTP outgoing setting on otrs 4.0.14" and I also visited the package archive.

Is that one the most recent add-on?
Is it still this one the procedure to solve the problem? And, In case no, how can I fix it?

You may use a local MX as well.

Hi Maurizio,

I would not mess around with a local MTA if you do not have a admin, who knows MTA handling very well.

Instead the easiest and best debug-able option is to

• configure under Admin/Postmaster Mail Accounts your mail accounts
• configure under Admin/E-Mail Addresses your corresponding mail address you want to use/need to use
• got to your queue and assign the queue your configured mail address under "system address"

this is the easiest and best to understand approach to configure the mails to your queues

no magic handling required on the MTA there you also require a high level of expertise to configure mail servers / MTAs
