Change translation file

Hi all,
i want to change default translation into my OTRS 3.0.
I have seen that if i use OTRS in english i get a good translation, but if i choose my language i don't understand any words.
Can you help me?

P.S. I don't want to create a custom language file, but modify the original to do changes for the future upgrade...

Creating xx_Custom.pm file you just protect yourself in future updates.
In addition, as I found out for translation of terms for ITSM modules necessary to create files xx_ITSM*_Custom.pm files.

Yes, but i want to change the default language cause nobody use english interface. So can you tell me what's the file where i find the translation of all words from english to others languages?

Ok, i have found the language files, but as you have written, i want to use a Custom file. I have to name it as xx_Custom.pm or i have to change the "xx" prefix with my language initials?

If xx.pm file for your language exists, you must create xx_Custom.pm file to add there untranslated terms. If not, then unfortunately I do not know the right answer.

1. xx(your language)_Custom.pm for OTRS and xx_ITSM*(ITSM module name)_Custom.pm (such as ru_ITSMConfigItem.pm) for ITSM.
2. For ITSM ConfigItem definition, need "translation=>1" attribute for each term you need to translate.

It's my experience. Who knows better?
