Hi everybody,
recently we have implemented OTRS 3.0.11 in our company but we are now facing on some bugs related to this release and then we would upgrade the system to the new one 3.1.
The issue is that, for easy management, we have chosen to install OTRS on a windows server.
We have found some threads regarding this topic but, as far as we have understood, there isn't an upgrade tool for WIN32.
So...what we have to do in order to upgrade the system?
I would also say that we have installed the ITSM modules and so also those have to be upgraded
Thanks in advance to everybody
Any help will be well appreciated
Regards
Upgrade from 3.0.11 to 3.1 WIN32

There are several threads in this forum discussing this topic. If you want a step by step method of upgrading in a Windows environment, watch the video in the link below.

I pretty much followed the same steps to upgrade 3.0.10 to 3.1.4 a few weeks ago. Of course, today 3.1.5 was released
Make sure to create a good mysql dump backup via the command line or by MySQL GUItools. I also highly recommend making a backup of the OTRS file structure, a must if you have chosen to store articles outside of the database.
Best of luck!

Hi Guillo,
please don't use 3 threads for the same question over here. It won't speed up things.
Please read my answer, read the mysql admin documentation. You also can install additional MySQL Tools for windows for dumoing and restoring data.
Please also have a look at http://doc.otrs.org/3.0/en/html/upgrade ... aller.html

I'm sorry... I've just opened one thread and I've been posting on different threads about the same issue. Won't do it anymore.
That is not really useful, the info is way to old as well as the video.
