Can't login after Fresh installation -> returning to Login

Hello,

first time here. We have sucessfully installed OTRS 3.3.6 on IIS 7.5 (Windows Server 2008 R2).

After configuring the email settings we tried to login for the first time with user root@localhost and the generated password which was displayed after completing the configuration.

When entering the correct crendentials i can't access the system, instead i am just returning to the login screen again. No error message or script errors seem to occur (checkd with firebug). Hovever the database connection seems to work fine, because if i enter a wrong password the corresponding error message appears.

Also, this is the first time i work with IIS, I'm not sure where i can find the correct log files, since the logs I find in the folder inetpub/logs/LogFiles seem not to be very useful. It looks like this:

I experiencing the same isssue, same scenario.

PRODUCT = OTRS
VERSION = 3.3.7
BUILDDATE = Mo Mai 12 18:40:39 CEST 2014
BUILDHOST = otrsbuild.otrs.com

installed on Windows 2012 R2, IIS 8.5, Perl 5.16.3, SQL Server 2012

login is OK via url.

I had the same issue as you but it was solved by change a 6 to 7 as mentioned in this post:

This also worked for me, however since I am using IIS 8 I had to change the # to an 8.
