hello,
I already posted this topic in the German area (viewtopic.php?f=35&t=28826) but no help so far.
I have an OTRS installed with a local mailserver with some mailaccounts.
But further there are two mailaccounts from an external mailgateway.
The problem is that the auto response message defined for the "external" mailaccounts is using the correct sender mailadress but the incorrect mailgateway. So each auto response message is blocked as spam because sender mailadress differ from sender mailserver.
When using the answer function for a ticket from these external mailaccounts the mails are correct > sender mailadress and external sender mailgateway are used.
Any ideas how to prevent that OTRS is using only the standard mailserver for auto responses instead of the mailserver attached to the mailadress? Maybe a workaround?
Regards
Alex

Re: How to use a different mailgateway for auto response messages
Hello,
it's a really old post but I have a same issue on OTRS 5.x now!
Multiple sender configured on postfix. Manual ticket reply and Email Outbound working correctly from both address but the secondary mail address autoreply goes to spam because it uses the primary mail gateway with the secondary sender address.
I got the same result when created customer Ticket Notification based on TicketCreate event, filtered on incoming Queue.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Regards!

First - it's very old thread.
Second - you're using very old system. Think about updating it to latest.
Last - look at this https://opar.perl-services.de/dist/MultiSMTP-6.0.2
