Migration of Plugins

Hi,

We are running OTRS 6.0.26 and want to update to 6.0.30. The system has few plugins which includes new custom plugins.

In this scenario, will the plugins work seamlessly after update or do we have to remove the plugins and add them again after the OTRS update.

Your suggestions/feedback would be quite useful.

Hi,
1. Update OTRS framework
2. Update addons if there are a new versions
3. Check addons functionality to be sure

Hi,

But we have installed custom plugins like integration to a third party application. In this scenario, do we have to re-install and configure the plugins.

I remember when we update OTRS, we download the latest version and move specific folders. Not sure if the plugin would work that way.

For minot update you should't reinstall third party plugins
