Add "BusinessArea" AD attribute in search ticket function

Post by alek12z »

Hi we have OTRS 6.0.30 version, connected to AD via LDAP to get users as customers.

I would like to set "BusinessArea" attribute from AD, where we can see tickets coming from different Business Units(snip 001).

So far, i was able to set it under "Customer ticket information" as additonal field, but can't get them in search export result.

Tried and experimented a bit under DynamicFieldFromCustomerUser::Mapping (snip 002), under "UserFirstname" changed to "businessArea",and i can see it in export, under "CustomerID", but then got many errors in system log:

Fri Dec 10 11:47:17 2021 (Europe/Stockholm) error OTRS-CGI-86 DynamicField businessArea in DynamicFieldFromCustomerUser::Mapping must be set in system and valid.

Is there are a way to pull up AD attributes in search ticket function?

KR,

Aleksandar.

Hi,

1. Check DF type. It should be dropdown
2. Check DF the mapping event module is active
3. Check if there it work for one ticket at least (in ticket history)
