[Solved] OTRS <-> Nagios System Monitoring Question

Post by chrotha »

Hey everyone.

I have a question about the System Monitoring Package.
I noticed that the package is storing the Host and Service name, on dynamic Fields, but then it is adding a new line when storing, meaning that I can't acknowledge the service since Nagios is no recognizing the Host or Service.

Any advice on how to change how OTRS stores the values in the Dynamic Fields?

I'm using OTRS 6 and CentOS 7

Thanks in advance

Hi,

If there is a new line added to host and service check your notification email and adjust the regular expressions.

Hey Roy,

Thanks for the reply.

I had to change the default Regular expression string so that it didn't count the "new line" when storing in the dynamic field.

It's solved.

Hi,

We're hitting the same issue could you share what you did to fix the RegEx?

Thanks,
Mark.
