Hi all,
Have just had an abortive attempt at upgrading 6.4.5 to 6.5.1.
After a good few hours trying to sort out cpan installing modules locally to the user rather than shared (centOS 7) (hint - move everything from your local lib folder to /usr/share/perl5 and comment out all the extra rubbish that been added to your user(s) .bashrc ). We finally got the required modules installed so that the Upgrade Script was happy with the modules, but are now stuck with two "old" packages:
- ITSM (the bundle) 6.4.2 doesn't appear to have a direct replacement in 6.5.x, the the individual ITSM packages upgraded fine. I'm guessing the bundle can just be removed now?
- TimeAccounting 6.0.19 - has been happily doing it's thing since updates were stopped. We use this for recording time spent on each ticket and forced the field to be completed for every note/update to the tickets. We tried uninstalling, which seemed to succeed, but can't update any tickets (I'm guessing the requirement is stuck somewhere. So, 1) Any ideas on a clean removal? 2) Is there something simple available where we can record a number of minute taken on each ticket update?
TIA,
Mark.

Just to update on this, we did manage to resolve this and upgraded to upgrade to 6.5.2. We removed the timeaccounting package beforehand and the upgrade worked.

Hi,
Just a small comment: the TimeAccounting package has nothing to do with the AccountedTime functionality. This is still available.
