Picture/Attachement uploading problem

Post by chrotha »

Hey everyone,

I'm having some issues uploading any kind of picture (print), or attachment, using the Customer.pl interface. This issue only occurs when I'm using an LDAP user, if I use any Customer User that's registered directly on the OTRS database, it works just fine.
I noticed that this started to happen when the Znuny PasswordPolicy was installed. The issue is, I can't find any information on any type of error on the server. From what I checked, with the help of the Network logs from the browser, the server is redirecting to the customer.pl?Action=AgentPassword,

and returning an error as you can check below:

I don't know what more information I can give, but any help would be much appreciated.

I'm using OTRS 6.0.29(it's out of LTS, I know, I'm planning on upgrading soon), and using CentOS 8 as the OS.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

We check this at Znuny to verify if it's a bug and I'll let you know.
Any possible fixes won't be implemented for 6.0, only for 6.5 and newer. But the changes might be manually applied to your version if only a tiny change exists.

Thanks Roy,

I'll also be testing on my side, to check if I can catch some error or something else.
I'll keep you updated
