Hi There,
does anybody know the proper syntax -- or a place to easily learn this -- to be able to filter out tickets of certain queues from the Dashboard?
I did find the Ticket -> Frontend::Agent::Dashboard SysConfig section, and it does seem to cover the Dashboard areas where I need to filter the tickets, moreover there are in fact a Filter - Locked and also a Group - '' (empty string) Key/Content pairs that seem to be the things I need to modify, but I have no idea of the syntax.
Mind you, if I were to go the other way around -- that is to only display tickets of certain queues -- then I would already have done it by entering the proper permission:group values into the Group content field (i.e. 'rw:group_support,ro:group_it'). But alas, I would like to allow everything except tickets from one (or two) queues... like the Junk queue for example for which I explicitly want not to see any reminders, escalations, etc.
Any insight?
Many thanks in advance!
Regards,
Peter

Besides removing those Queues from "My Queues" in Preferences?

Re: Filtering tickets in Dashboard based on queue (group)?
Can you really 'remove' queues in prefs? I can only de-select them, and by doing that for i.e. the Junk queue, it does not filter out tickets in my Junk queue in Dashboard.crythias wrote:Besides removing those Queues from "My Queues" in Preferences?
Might it have anything to do with Junk being a "system" queue assigned to my account by selecting various permissions on the "users" group?

Re: Filtering tickets in Dashboard based on queue (group)?
Update: in Preferences I can indeed select what My Queues are, and I can click on 'My Queues' filter in the section headers of the Dashboard form -- this indeed produces what I have in mind!
However, just to go the full length regarding the Ticket -> Frontend::Agent::Dashboard config settings, what would be the content value for the Filter key for the My Queue selection? I know 'Locked' = locked filter, 'All' = no filter, but what is the value for My Queue? 'CustomQueue' ?
