hi all,
am very new to otrs.
i have set the notifications in my preferences as yes if there is a new ticket in my queue but cant receive any notifications when new tickets are created for my queues.
Any help appreciated.

Just try the AdminEmail. Does that work?
If not, please goto SysConfig / Framwork / Core::Sendmail and fill out the form.

the problem was i had not selected my queues. i thought my queues were those on the list, but realized i had to highlight the ones that i wanted
