Hi,

Our clients have a bad habit to include our help desk email address into the CC field. They don't do it expecting to open a ticket. Our HD has a limited scope/range. I think that they think that their problem will be solved faster if they get more people involved...

We already configured a filter to ignore messages in which the HD email is CC. It's working, but, some people how doesn't know how properly use an email client (they don't know the difference between TO, CC & BCC) put our address into the TO. But I can't filter it, otherwise we will not receive new ticket requests.

One solution that I thought was to build a command line that will parse the TO field. If it has more than 2 addresses, ignore it.

We'll only open new tickets if the email is address only to our HD email.

I know that I could instruct our users to (for instance) start their subjects with NEW - blah, blah, blah (so I could filter the subject). But I tought that I could give it a try...

TIA,

BOB
