Hello,
I am having problems getting mod_perl working for OTRS on my server.
I have looked all over the internet and tried lots of things but when I make the changes in the config files Apache doesn't startup again.
I have tried using the README.webserver to configure mod_perl but with no luck...
Can someone please give me or tell me where I can find a step by step guide to configure this?
I am running Windows Server 2003 x64, Apache 2.2, Strawberry Perl and OTRS 2.4.7.
Thank you very much!

there is no mod_perl module for strawberry perl.
You need to install another PERL (like Active State Perl) and do the OTRS Installation manually... (But I suggest to use an linux server instead)

Re: Configure mod_perl for OTRS 2.4 on Windows Server 2003
Thank you for the advice JOJO!
The reason I was looking to install mod_perl was to increase the speed of accessing the system.
We have the system on a server at our offices and for the people working from the office navigating around OTRS isn't a problem.
The consultants that do not work from inside the office are experiencing major speed issues when creating tickets ect. Do you have any ideas as to what might be causing that?
If I create a new system and install OTRS manually and get mod_perl or FastCGI configured do you think that will resolve the speed problems I am currently experiencing?
Thanks again for your help!

this could als be DNS issues and other network related issues.
