How to attach the customers' signature automatically

Post by meoukg »

Hi All,

Is there any ways to enable the signature feature for the customers to attach on Customer Portal/Preferences (customer.pl) after they've submitted a ticket? Or we can use the customer user information to create a signature for each users?

Thanks & BRs,

Kindly support!

Hi Jojo, thanks for your quick reply. But some customers want it, now they must copy their signature to the post when they reply a ticket. They want to bcc to managers (external customer of OTRS System) with the full history like email.

Hi jojo, OK. Maybe it is strange with you because you are not the customers and always don't understand their need. By the way, some software producer (includes OTRS) doesn't listen to the users voices and their engineers act like you who thinks it still makes no sense ==> NEVER BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE FUTURE

I made about 1000 OTRS projects. Not all customer requests makes sense in the philosopy of a tool. You always can buy a custom development...

seriously, This does not make sense. There is no reason for a *customer* to need to attach a signature. Nobody but the agent will receive it and if the signature is of the unnecessary "Only for the people for which it is intended" boilerplate, there are two problems: 1) if the signature is necessary, submit the ticket by email. If only submitting tickets by web, do the customers insist on telling every other business that they must have a signature field in order to do business with them?

Can you imagine? Hey, Cisco, IBM, I won't do business with you if I don't have a signature field for web tickets I submit. What do you think they'd say?
