Post by Gunjan »

Hi,

I am using OTRS 3.3.12. Can you please tell me how can I make Incident State field in Config Items non mandatory? I am using csv export file to import the config items and I dont need this field as I don't have this in my csv export.

I don't use it but I don't know how the Incident state can be non-mandatory. That's a strong point of what the CMDB is for. Not just a log of equipment, but also the state of the equipment.

Again, this makes sense. It's not sufficient to import lists of hardware, without also indicating what incident state they'd be at time of import.
