IMAP: Can't connect to localhost

Hey,
some time ago our OTRS-installation which worked like a charm for years has somehow stopped fetching new mails.

This is the error I'm getting:

The weird thing is that I can fetch mails manually...

Any ideas?

why do you want to fetch e-mails via IMAP from localhost?
and what means "it works manually" ?
