Installing on lampp

Hello,

I'm in the need of installing OTRS using the resources (apache and mysql) provided by lampp. I've read that installation scripts make assumptions that there are httpd and mysql processes running on the machine, but in my case theay have the path of lampp's directory.

What changes are necessary to make?

in OTRS there are noch changes to be done. You have to configure Apache and mysql so the can be used by OTRS and set the values in OTRS accordingly.

LAMPP is not an extra software package, it just means Linux Apache MySQL PHP PERL which typically are elementary parts of a Linux Server as additional software.

If you want to use XAMPP on your Linx, please keep in mind that it is not for productive use!
