This error message is usually caused by a disconnect from the requesting system and the server it is trying to get to.

If you are behind a firewall or using proxy etc, you may be getting a time out in pickup the packages.

You can try to download the package(s) you want from the FTP site locally to your system and then run the package installer against the local file similar to the way you have to install the ITSM core etc.

Hope it helps!

hi support

I am not behind a firewall. I have the files on the server.

any way I got it to work

Now I need to integrated it with active directory and with a single logon. Is that possible

I see you have been posting up some questions about your single sign on request in an other thread so I won't try to address it here.

You may want to know that if you ware setting up SSO so that it can automatically login a user to OTRS based on a MS network/system login, you will be limiting the users to only being able to use MS IE as a browser as well from what I can tell about the use case scenario.
