I'm having to manually fetch emails to OTRS. I upgraded from 2.4, where this all worked perfectly. After the upgrade, the mail wont auto-fetch.
I'm pretty sure the guy that installed this originally, installed the whole thing as root and never created an OTRS user.
What's the first thing I should check? (I'm running centOS, and I'm a bit of a noob at it.)
I assume this is a problem with the cron job. Do they have to be setup again after an upgrade?

You'd need to check your cron jobs.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

/etc/init.d/otrs restart
should restart your otrs cron jobs and please check also if cron itself is running

cron is running, i've restarted otrs with no luck.

during the upgrade, i never had to deal with the .dist files. It looked like they were already done. Is that renaming only necessary on new installs?
