Database Values for Change_State_ID

I am creating some reports via BIRT off of the OTRS system and I am running into difficulty when trying to apply a filterers to the otrs.change_item.change_state_id field. The values of the change_state_id are three digit integers and I can't seem to find the table the integers are referencing. My guess is it is tied into the state machine somehow, but I can't figure out a way to decipher the field's value.

I would like to include a the status field as a value in the reports (forward schedule of change and CAB reports) but I need to figure out how to link the field to its reference table.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
