Hi,
I have added four freetext fields to both email and phone tickets which all are crucial for our operation. However, when I try searching for tickets with information in any of these four freetext fields no tickets are shown in the search results. Could anyone please help me on how to make these newly added freetext fields searchable?
I am using OTRS 3.0.4. I saw that this bug should have been fixed in 3.0.3, but I can't figure out how to make it work.
Thanks a lot for all help!

If it's a free form, why not just use a note?

Re: Making FreeText fields searchable
One of the fields I have added is "Product SKU" and since we have thousands of SKUs which are constantly increasing, a dropdown list is not really suitable. What I would like to do is to be able to search for a specific SKU and then see all the tickets for that specific SKU.
I'm no sure what you mean by using a note, but we have several freetext fields (other ones are order number, product name etc.) that need to searchable.
I can add the freetext fields to the attibute in the search pop-up window, but no results are shown when the search is carried out.
Thanks!
