i want to migrate the configuration of OTRS3.0.5 to another machine without
overwriting the DB.
How can i do it?

Hello,

I would suggest:
1) Make a backup of your database (mysqldump for instance)
2) Install OTRS 3.0.5 (yes it overwrites the database indeed)
3) Restore your database on the new installation

(And another thing: Please modify the title of this message because "i need help on this" does not help us to know what you are talking about )

For example if I made a new configuration OTRS3.0.5: customization and I want to migrate this config to another machine I have to follow the same procedure then??

yes, same procedure, and copy your config (or entire otrs folder) from old to new.

when I do a backup for my system I have therefore three archives:
Config.tar.gz
DatabaseBackup.sql.gz
Application.tar.gz
I just want to migrate the configuration of my machine to another
is Config.tar.gz is useful for this?
If yes how to use it?
