I am testing out OTRS with another department at my company. This department has a tremendous Exchange inbox that serves at least 20-30 clients. The department wants to test using OTRS on only 1 or 2 clients initially, and if that goes well convert over to using only OTRS. The issue is that the inbox only has one main email address, and if I set OTRS to fetch from that address it will migrate over the entire mailbox. I am working on mirroring the Exchange mailbox and configuring OTRS to fetch from the mirrored inbox. However as they will only be dealing with 1-2 clients initially I was wondering if there was an easy way to block emails that did not pertain to the clients being used for testing purposes? I have worked with the postmaster filters a little bit and know that I can automatically move emails to a certain queue, but can you block emails if they meet a certain criteria from coming into the system?
Also, can you filter a subject based on a keyword or does the filter have to match the subject exactly. For example if the subject contains a certain word, can you make that a filter?
Thanks in advance for your help!
