Hi,
I've installed OTRS 3.0.8 on a new server and upgraded a copy of our database for testing and evaluation. First of all I'd like to say well done to all the developers, I've shown it to some users who generally don't like change and they love the new interface and features (coming from 2.2.5)!
I have one problem stopping me from rolling out the upgraded system. We have a number of queues each servicing a different public email address. On the current live system (v 2.2.5) we have a number of AutoResponses set up, each with the "Auto Response From" set to "email address 1" (the email address of our main queue). These AutoResponses are linked to each of our queues, and when a client emails one of our secondary queues the sender of the auto response is set to the Systemaddress of the queue. So if a client sends an email to "email address 2" the auto reponse comes from "email address 2".
All the Queues and AutoResponses were transferred over to the 3.0.8 installation. But if I send an email to "email address 2" on the new system, the auto response comes from "email address 1". Does anybody know if this is something that has changed between versions, a configuration setting that I have missed or maybe an indication of an error during the upgrade process?
Thanks in advance,
Richard Thomas

Re: Sender address on Auto Response
Seeing as nobody has any answers, I'll suggest my workaround and hopefully somebody will say I don't need to do this. The workaround as I see it is to create separate, identical AutoResponses for each queue, and set the value of "Auto Response From" to the email address of the queue it is written for. Maybe that is the way you are supposed to do things in OTRS 3, but it seems like a backwards step from how it worked in version 2.
Any comments?
Thanks in advance. Live upgrade planned for Tuesday evening, wish me luck
