Is there a way to allow multiple customers on one ticket?

Generally, no, but you can split the ticket.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

We looked at that, but it creates two tickets when there is only one issue. Doesnt work well for ticket counts. Basically we want the ability to send e-mails to more than one person when the ticket is closed, showing the resolution.

Using the 'Reply' function and setting the state there to closed. You can send an email to multiple people and close the ticket in one go.
