Free field from child window

Hi all,

Is there any way to select values for TicketFreeText from child window.
Like for TicketFreeText, i would like to open a child window, select a value or type text, and update that value to the TicketFreeText.

for example Check this : http://www.plus2net.com/javascript_tuto ... child3.php

can it be similarly done to TicketFreeText.
