Hi, I am struggling with this concept.
Is it possible to see freetext fields in iPhone app? I have ticketfreetext and articlefreetext fields that work fine in the web interface. In sysconfig, for all iPhone configs, ViewNote, ViewPhone, etc., I have set 'content' to 1 for all of the ticketfreetext and articlefreetext fields in use.
Freetext fields will not show up in iPhone tickets or iPhone notes.
Please let me know if I am simply doing something wrong or perhaps this feature is not available?
Thanks!

I think you have to do the same thing in the iPhone parts of SysConfig.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Re: Is Freetext possible in iPhone app
I feel like I have exhausted those settings for iPhone sysconfig.
There are only 6 subgroups under iPhone in sysconfig. One of those is Core::Log which doesn't relate.
For the other five (shown below) I have set Key 1 and Key 2 = 1 (in the Content Field), and there is a checkmark to enable each of the entities.
iPhone::Frontend::AgentTicketClose###TicketFreeText
iPhone::Frontend::AgentTicketCompose###TicketFreeText
iPhone::Frontend::AgentTicketMove###TicketFreeText
iPhone::Frontend::AgentTicketNote###TicketFreeText
iPhone::Frontend::AgentTicketPhone###TicketFreeText
This is the same configuration I used in order it to work for Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewPhoneNew, as an example.
Thank you again!

Re: Is Freetext possible in iPhone app
I am having same problem. I dont see freetext fields in Compose View even if they are enabled in SysConf iphone settings. Also the key names for ticketfreetext don't reflect in Ticket View on iphone I just see TicketFreeText1,TicketFreeText2 etc..
Can any one help me with this?

Re: Is Freetext possible in iPhone app
I believe this is still an issue. Although the Sysconfig-iPhone->Frontend::Agent subgroups have the option to set ArticleFreeText items I cannot get them to show in the iPhone app.
I assume that these should be set with a 0,1,2 as they are elsewhere in OTRS?
It would be interesting to know if there is any news or direction for iPhone app development.
Thanks!
