WIN - how to update?

Hi,

we are short before going in production with OTRS installed on MS Server 2008 R2, DB on a MSSQL 2008. I've installed version 3.0.8 with MSSQL db on a second machine, LDAP auth, and so on... Now the update 3.0.9 is available.

Question 1: What do I need? Full installer package or just the OTRS zip file?
Question 2: When I want to update via full package, the system said: "OTRS already installed". Should I deinstall first?
Question 3: When I just copy the content of the zip file and do steps 1..7, 11, 12 from update instructuions, we get missing permission messages. Do I have to set them manually?
Question 4: Can someone please post a working howto for updating on Windows systems? I didn't find any post in this forum.

So you totally missed the other bazillion posts about this? Look down the 1st page in 'Installation & Updates'. I can see 2 posts directly related to MSSQL, Windows and Installing....

Hi, yes, I saw an read them carefully. But my questions are not really solved in these threads. No one described which packet was used and afterwards I struggled with the permissions. So it is very unclear how to update.
