Since upgrading to 3.0.5 we have decided to start using way more features in the system than what we have used in the last year using the system. We are having some difficulties getting items to work and I am just not sure if I am missing settings somewhere so any help is much appreciated.
We finally set everything up to accept emails in and put them in the queue as a new ticket and are able to send emails out but auto responders appear to be working from within the UI but nothing ever gets sent out. There are notes being auto added to the case with what should have been emailed out on the auto response.
I also *tried* to setup an event notifcation to send out an email to the agrents when there is a new email case in the system but this does not seem to be working either.
Finally is there a way to disable the ability to register on the customer page? I only want customers who have active contracts with us to be able to access the system and do not want a bunch of random people added.

Go to Edit Config Settings in Framework -> Frontend::Customer
and then set
CustomerPanelCreateAccount to No
