I have my mapping set up so the CustomerID = my AD samAccountName. I can't reliably assure that all accounts have unique email address, but I was sure all accounts have unique login names. However, when my help desk guys type in the customer search the results look like:
"Ken.Nischan Nischan, Ken" <Ken.Nischan@mydomain.gov>
Looks like it's putting my CustomerID followed by a display name. Weird. Can I drop the CustomerID from there?

Re: Customer display in selections
It may not be desired to have unique CustomerID names long term.

Re: Customer display in selections
In my environment, we'll never want customers seeing each others' tickets so that won't be an issue for us. I'd just like to remove the duplication from the results lookup so my HD guys can stop bugging me about it, heh.
Got it, nevermind. Thanks.
