So far the otrs helpdesk is everything we needed, i am finding it quite helpfull. I have an issue when we merge two requests the subject changes to the latest ticket.
So what i am wondering is if it can keep the subject of the original request? Rather than the new one?

How about you click Merge in the Latest ticket and Merge it into the oldest ticket?
Whatever ticket you are in when you click Merge will be linked to the ticket you are merging to ...
will fix you data accuracy issue but might conflict with the date/time ... careful and test

there is a config paramter for that but unfortunatelly I forgot which one - check the sysconfig please

Thanks for reply guys, ill check the config today and with regards to the "Merge in the latest Ticket" when i click merge to oldest it merges fine but the subject still changes to the latest ticket.

I was just wondering if anyone has managed to find a solution to the issue of merging new to old requests. Once they have merged to the oldest request the subject is automatically changed to the latests call that was in the list.
