Hello,
In the Survey Config "Survey -> Core Survey::NotificationSender" I can enter an e-mail address that should be the sender of the survey. I can even enter the e-mail address again when creating a new survey, but the survey is still sent out by the address that is the "Framework -> Core::Sendmail SendmailModule::AuthUser".
We wish to send the survey from a different (somekind of noreply ) address, do You know how to manage that?
Many thanks,
ieva.

Re: Survey from different e-mail address.
Seems my problem initially is similar to this one: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13925&p=55772#p55772
Seems to be gmail specific.
So I had "Framework -> Core::Sendmail SendmailModule::AuthUser" set to for example root@gmail.com
And I had "Survey -> Core Survey::NotificationSender" set to for example ieva@gmail.com
Those surveys were always sent from root@gmail.com.
So the solution was to go to root@gmail.com settings under Accounts and set "Send e-mail as:" ieva@gmail.com
After that the survey was showed has been sent from ieva@gmail.com.
But we had a side effect: As our root@gmail.com is e-mail address for receiving support tickets and they automatically generate tickets in OTRS, this Survey which was sent out landed in the OTRS. (sent from ieva@gmail.com to customer@nomail.de)
This also seems to be a "feature" related to gmail.
I still would like to have some other solution. Could we find one?
