Customers Area is Blank

So I am using a external database for my customers. This is done with a MySQL database.

When opening a new ticket, I can type a customers name and it shows the list of customers with their appropriate account numbers. This would be in a format like 'John Smith (347242)'

The problem is, the Customer Information to the right shows no information. Also, if I click on the customers header, I see the page but its blank. You can tell the entries should be their, but you can't click on them. It looks like it builds a list that lists several hundred but you can't visually see them.

Any ideas?
