LDAP Agent Sync Question

Post by tcs »

Am I correct that Agents can not be sync'd (as in pre-populated)?

When I logged in after finishing my configuration, all my LDAP Customers were listed and populated in "Customers", however when I go to "Agents" none of my agents are there except the ones who have already logged in.

Agents can log in and roles and names/addresses are correct, but they do not show up under my list of agents unless they have logged in at least once. For Customers this was automatic without needing them to log in first. Is this by design or is there a way to get all my agents populated from AD before they've logged in? If this should be doable I can post my config.

Thanks.

Bump...

tl;dr, Agents aren't showing up until they've logged in. Is there any way to get my Agents imported?

I think this is by design.

I'm assuming your agents can still log in, despite not existing in AGENTS until they do so?

Correct. Basically I just want my agents populated from LDAP before they've logged in, just like the clients.
