Hi
I've just installed OTRS 3.1.7 & ITSM as we're looking for a better helpdesk solution that is ITIL v3 compliant.

I'm reading the manual too but will know-doubt have a raft of questions .....

Is there a way to link software / hardware / computer to a Customer ?

Ideally I'd like to link the PC/laptop CI information along with the software CI information to a user (Customer ?) and then be able to track these changes beit adding additional software, moving licences or whatever

I should then be able to run a report describing
- all my IT inventory (software / software licences etc) - can be used for annual licence reviews etc
- all my hardware IT assets
- all the IT assets given to an individual or 'company' ?

Can someone confirm this too with high-level pointers how to achieve this
