Disable new ticket notification to end customer

Post by Sophy978 »

Hello, is there a way to disabled the 'new ticket' notification to end customer for a specific ticket type?
For example, I have a new ticket created with type = Order. The agents in the queue should get the new ticket in queue notification but for the end customer (ticket is created on behalf of), they should not get a ticket confirmation/creation notification.

Thanks for any help.

"That's what queues are for."
Because queues have autoresponses.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.

Hello again, I replied to the wrong post, sorry. Regarding the original issue, I have a queue created for 'Order'. I disabled all the notifications since there as really no option to only disable the new ticket confirmation to the end customer. Please see my image below. Yet all the normal notifications, to the agents in the queue, escalations, and most important one - new ticket confirmation to the end customer is still going out. Is this the only place for notifications or is there another setting for this somewhere else?

What is the first queue that the ticket will have been created in? If email, unless you're PostmasterFilter, it will be PostMasterFilter default queue.

Yes I am using the postmaster filter, the first queue that it ends up is the correct order queue. The system is acting a little strange. I did not reboot the server and last night the notifications for the order did not go out for new ticket confirmation or updates to the end customer. But the new ticket in queue notification did go out to members of the queue. This is exactly what I wanted but what is strange is you can see in my settings above, I've disabled all notifications.

NoTifcationS are (generally) for ageNTS (and are generally agent preferences yes and "My Queues" selected, but Notification (Events) ignore settings)
[auto]ResponseS are for customeRS and assigned per queue.
