Post by branoma »

Hello,
I need your help. When I am trying to forward received email incl. attachment to another email adrress, in forward form is missing attachment(forwarded email is without attachment, in this case is attached file picture in *.tif format).
Is there any configuration option for this, or?
Thanks

please, is there any step by step manual how to upgrade win version. I checked official manul for version 3.1 but there is nearly nothing about this topic. My OTRS Helpdesk version is 3.0.11. I tried to install the newest version 3.1.1 and import experted Sysconfig configuration in testing environment but server didnt start (before I successfully restored into testing environment mysql database).
What is wrong, or what i have to do? Is there any script for database structure update?
Thanks for advice

Those that have done it on windows seem to have done a backup of database and filesystem, fresh install of new application, drop/rename/backup old otrs data, import the backup of otrs, and applied the patches per the UPGRADING readme, and restored configuration, deleted cache, rebuilt config.

I can't tell you if that will work, but it's likely to do so. Test on another box. Basically, take this time to do "disaster recovery" on a workstation. Once the database is converted, you should be able to dump from test and deploy on production, if production is updated to the same version of OTRS.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
